West Sacramento is undergoing exciting changes. As your city councilmember, I am making sure we move in the right direction by improving our schools, enhancing public safety, revitalizing neighborhoods, encouraging new business, and solving traffic problems.

During my campaign I promised that I would bring fresh, independent leadership to the West Sacramento City Council and listen to the concerns of the community while:

• Helping establish a vibrant West Capitol Avenue where people can live, dine and shop
• Managing redevelopment and other growth so it does not outpace the building of proper streets and roads
• Ensuring police and fire services are adequately funded for the safety of the community
• Creating after school programs and other activities for children
• Ensuring the Port continues to play a vital role in our region's transportation infrastructure and remains a strong force for jobs and economic growth.
